Wendi Finch May is an associate with Fuerst Ittleman. She primarily practices in the area of Food and Drug Law assisting clients by navigating the complex regulatory system implemented and enforced by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Mrs. May graduated with honors from Wayne State University Law School. She was a Barrister Scholarship recipient and winner of the Boaz Siegal Award for excellence in Employment and Workers' Compensation Law and Health Law. While attending law school, Mrs. May participated in the Nonprofit Corporations and Urban Development Clinic. As a student law clerk for the clinic, Mrs. May was able to counsel a nonprofit corporation client concerning formation, corporate governance compliance, as well as state and federal regulatory requirements. She also interned with attorneys working for the Michigan Children's Law Center.

Mrs. May also graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Food Science. While studying Government Regulations of the Food Industry, Mrs. May found her interest in FDA regulations and compliance. During the summer of 2002, Mrs. May interned at FDA headquarters as well as the FDA CFSAN office within the Office of External Relations as well as the Office of Public Affairs. During her time with the FDA, Mrs. May was able to attend Congressional hearings, lectures on different food safety topics, as well as a course at the University of Maryland on Risk Management.
