Fuerst Ittleman works with clients in maximizing both the legal and business impact of the wide range of U.S. trade agreements upon their operations, particularly those involving DR-CAFTA and NAFTA, as well as the international trade regulations administered through the World Trade Organization (WTO).
Fuerst Ittleman also represents clientele in both prosecuting and defending claims involving provisions of these various U.S. trade agreements. Fuerst Ittleman advocates for clients in such proceedings as arbitration disputes under DR-CAFTA’s chapter 10; bi-national panel reviews pursuant to NAFTA’s chapter 19; and formal World Trade Organization disputes at both the WTO trial/settlement and appellate/review levels.
